Student Watch

Students across Oxford are being offered the chance to sign up to Student Watch at Freshers’ Fayres across the county this month.

A free email service has been set up to keep students in the county up-to-date with crime in the area and ways they can keep themselves safe.

Sign up to Student Watch

• Email Ringmaster Oxford with your name, university or college name, the year you started your course and your preferred email address.

Students will receive crime updates and advice from detectives and crime reduction officers that relate to what’s happening in your area.

Student Watch is currently being run in Oxford, but plans are underway to extend this to Berkshire and Buckinghamshire shortly. It is exclusively for students but forms part of the wider Thames Valley Police Community Messaging service.
