Mrs Amanda Cooper - Director of Information, Science and Technology

Amanda was employed in the private sector as a Laboratory Operations Manager before taking up the post of Head of Forensic Investigations at Thames Valley Police in January 2002. She was responsible for the development of strategy and the management of resources supporting the delivery of forensic services across the Force.

In 2008, following her completion of the Strategic Command Course she joined the Chief Constables Management Team as the Acting Director of Information and Strategy. In 2009 she became the Director of Information Science and Technology.

The areas of responsibility in her portfolio are the ICT Department, providing services across Thames Valley Police and Hampshire, the Information Management Department providing information assurance, access and security services across Thames Valley Police and Hampshire, Corporate Communications Department and the Contracts and Procurement Department.
