Training Terms and conditions

Project Griffin is an awareness day designed to inform delegates of subjects related to both international and domestic terrorism, resulting in you being able to apply the subjects raised in your own working environment.

Due to the large administration of the project, a fee of £40.00 is charged to each private delegate who attends the event. Thames Valley Police will invoice you after the event has taken place.

All delegates are to complete the online application form and, in doing so, acknowledge that they have read and understood the terms and conditions of the application process. Unfortunately, application forms that are not completed in this way cannot be accepted and your place cannot be reserved.

Once a completed online application form is received, an email acknowledging this and confirmation of your reservation for the date you have specified will be sent to you.

If there are any matters that you wish to discuss prior to forwarding the completed application form, please email the Project Griffin team.

Invoicing and cancellation policy

Invoicing

Thames Valley Police operates the following invoicing policy:

  • Customers will be invoiced after the event.
  • Payment should be received within 30 days of the invoice date.

Cancellation

Thames Valley Police operates a cancellation policy in the event that a delegate cancels an agreed awareness day in the following circumstances. Charges will be invoiced in these terms:

  • More than 20 days notice – No charge.
  • 10-19 days notice – 50% of the event cost, if the customer is unable to provide a replacement.
  • Less than 9 days notice – Full charge of event costs, if customer is unable to provide a replacement.

Delegates who do not attend and have not notified via the email address below will be fully invoiced for their place.

Please note

  • Substitution of a delegate is possible right up to the commencement of the course (It would be appreciated if this was notified prior to the commencement of the course).
  • In the event that an awareness day is cancelled, delegates’ individual costs incurred will not be the responsibility of Thames Valley Police and no reimbursement will be made.
  • The cancellation of an event must be notified to the provider – email the Project Griffin team.
