Police Federation
Thames Valley Federation provides Thames Valley Police officers with expert advice in areas such as equality and diversity, conditions of service, pensions, welfare, health and safety, and discipline matters.
They also provide various member services, plus training and support in maternity issues, flexible working and post-incident procedures.
- A team of local Federation representatives (opens new window) serves Thames Valley Police Headquarters and each Force Basic Command Unit – Oxfordshire, Berkshire East, Berkshire West, Buckinghamshire, and Milton Keynes.

Police Federation
The Thames Valley Federation is a part of the Police Federation of England and Wales -the representative body to which all police officers up to and including the rank of Chief Inspector belong.
Today, the Federation nationally represents the interests of over 136,000 police officers, presenting their views to Government and police authorities. The Federation negotiates on all aspects of pay, allowances, annual leave, pensions and hours of duty.
