Women's Network
The Thames Valley Women’s Network is committed to improving the working environment for, and maximising the potential of, women within Thames Valley Police.
Membership of the Women’s Network is open to all officers, special constables, police community support officers (PCSOs), police staff, volunteers and Reliance security staff. The Women’s Network has members at all levels of the Force who can provide help and support to colleagues.
Their focus includes:
- Job opportunities, career progression and training.
- Promoting a work-life balance – through flexible working.
- Maternity and adoption leave.
- Advice for new or expectant mothers.
The Women’s Network also takes on the role of a ‘critical friend’ to the Force and acts as a focal point for local groups of Thames Valley Police women. The Women’s Network supports the Force’s
