Diversity Unit

The Thames Valley Police Diversity Unit makes sure that all aspects of diversity are actively being promoted throughout the Force.

The Unit, which was set up in 2005, raises issues to the Force and works to improve the treatment and consideration given to minority groups. It forms part of the Force’s Local Policing section and is led by Chief Inspector Hugh Matthews.

The Unit consists of a Chief Inspector, Equality Schemes Co-ordinator, and an Administrator.
