Race
Thames Valley Police is committed to promoting racial equality and tackling racial discrimination.
We do not accept behaviour that involves intolerance to a person’s nationality, race, religion or colour. Race is one of our ‘six strands of diversity’.
The Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 places a duty on all public authorities to:
- Eliminate unlawful racial discrimination.
- Promote equality of opportunity.
- Promote good relations between persons of different racial groups.
What is a racist incident?
