Assistant Chief Officer Steven Chase, Director of Human Resources

Steven joined Thames Valley Police in April 1997 as head of Human Resources (HR).

Previously, he had served for over 20 years in the Royal Air Force, reaching the rank of Group Captain. Steven holds a doctorate in business administration and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Steven's role is to provide professional leadership of all aspects of the HR function with a particular focus on leadership, organisational development and change, and the role of HR as a strategic business partner.
