Chief Superintendent Alan Baldwin has been with Thames Valley Police since 2008.
He has held the posts of Basic Command Unit (BCU) commander at Milton Keynes and Head of Crime. Alan’s current post is that of Head of the Local Policing Model review team, responsible for delivering a new style and structure of policing on Local Police Areas throughout Thames Valley Police.
Alan has 24 years in policing having worked in three other police forces – the Ministry of Defence Police, West Mercia Constabulary and the Metropolitan Police Service. Alan has spent half of his career in the uniform operations side of the business and the other half as a detective. Alan is from Aylesbury and is proud to serve in his home Force to detect and prevent crime and anti-social behaviour impacting upon local people.
