Equality and diversity
At Thames Valley Police we are committed to delivering a high quality service to all members of our communities, irrespective of age, disability, gender, race, religion, belief or sexual orientation.
We serve a large and diverse community in the Thames Valley, and it is absolutely vital that our officers and staff are able to engage with different sections of our community and deliver a police service that is truly citizen-focused.
Our Single Equality Scheme sets out how we will deliver services that meet the needs of our diverse communities, while promoting equality and diversity both in the way we deal with the public and within our own workforce.
We would be really interested to receive any feedback on the current scheme. Please email the Diversity Unit with your thoughts.
