Other ways to make a complaint
- Visit your local police station and ask to speak to a sergeant, inspector or supervisor. If none are available at that time, ask the front counter officer to make an arrangement for you to be contacted.
- You can also approach other agencies to make a complaint on your behalf – for example, Citizens Advice Bureaux (opens new window), Equality and Human Rights Commission (opens new window), a solicitor, other community groups, or any other person of your choice.
