Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Rural Crime - Due to the very isolated location of farm outbuildings throughout the Vale of White Horse, the area is being targeted for theft of plant tools and diesel. There are also thefts of quad bikes and 4x4 vehicles..
  2. Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) – tackling ASB committed by individuals in the area that causes alarm and distress to the community. This includes anti-social use of vehicles and speeding.
  3. Burglary – includes domestic dwelling and non-dwelling burglaries to outhouses and sheds. The non-dwellings burglaries also include business and industrial premises.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
