Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

1.Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) - We are continuing to monitor the area around the Walton Court Shops and the rest of the area. We have increased the number of patrols which are being conducted in the shopping centre at all times of day and are working in partnership with VAHT (Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust) to reduce and deal with these problems and those individuals concerned.

.ASB remains one of the priorities of the Neighbourhood Policing Team. Members from the Team participate in Operation Advance. The operation runs nightly and targets patrols to address problem issues throughout Aylesbury. This is extremely useful tool in addressing emerging problems and supporting the community against anti-social behaviour.

2.Parking - The main issue is happening along Winterton Drive and Kynaston Avenue. This is mostly occurring in the day times and is in relation to the hospital staff parking there. Cars are being parked on both sides of the road making it difficult for residents to get in and out of their houses. We are currently working in partnership with local council to work on resolving this problem.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
