Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

1. Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)  - With the introduction of the new Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, new, simpler powers are being rolled out to enable anti-social behaviour to be tackled, and provide better protection for victims and communities.

The new community trigger and community remedy will empower victims and communities, giving them a greater say in how agencies respond to complaints of anti-social behaviour and in out-of-court sanctions for offenders.

Aylesbury South Neighbourhood policing team are currently surveying the local community to provide feedback on local neighbourhood priorities. As the results come in, the new priorities will reflect local issues that communities are facing.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
