Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Meadowcroft Community Centre/Jonathan Page Centre Anti-social behaviour (ASB)  - Reports from businesses and residents of youths gathering in the area behind the portacabins and near the Jonathan Page Centre, causing a nuisance, lots of noise, anti-social behaviour, cannabis being smoked and criminal damage to properties.  High visibility patrols are being regularly carried out around the area, any youths found in the area are moved on.
  2. Drinkers and Anti-social behaviour on Ardenham lane - We have been receiving calls in regards to people drinking, smoking and littering on Ardenham lane. Our officers are working hard to disrupt any further issues in the area. Persons that are found in the area are asked to move on and to take their litter with them. It is a working progress on getting the area cleaned up.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
