Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

1. Burglary Dwelling – This remains Force Priority and the team are heavily involved in patrols and crime reduction work to ensure that coming up to the Christmas period that any addresses that appear vulnerable are visited and advice given. The team are out and about on foot and in vehicles at different times.

2. Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB / Noise) – The team are concentrating on certain areas within the Buckingham Town area regarding drug use by the young community. This is not only a danger to the person using the substance but can also create ASB for residents due to noise and police attendance. Reassurance patrols, robust action and engagement with other agencies will be prevalent in the coming months.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
