Great Brickhill, Wing and Ivinghoe District neighbourhood
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
1. Burglary Dwelling - Burglary remains top of the list as a priority for the team. Operation ‘Arctic’ is continuing until the end of January 2015. The Neighbourhood Policing teams will be carrying out extra patrols in all areas where burglaries have increased and we would urge everyone to report any suspicious activity by calling the Police Non-Emergency number (101) at the time so we have a chance of dealing with it robustly. If you witness an offence being committed, please call 999.
2. Theft from Motor Vehicle (TFMV) - We have changed one of our priorities this month from burglary non dwelling to TFMV. This is because we have seen an increase in the number of items stolen from cars. This includes theft of number plates. The team will be out about putting notes on vehicles that have valuables left on show. Please do not be offended if you receive one we just don’t want you to become a statistic.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
