Oxford Barton / Risinghurst / Sandhills neighbourhood
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
- Youth related Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
The neighbourhood team are focusing on stopping, late night drinking, noise near the shops and ASB in the kid play parks.
There has been an increase in reports of drug misuse in the neighbourhood. The team will be responding to reports from the public of specific addresses where it is suspected drugs are being used. Likewise we will be targeting the subway system for drug dealing.
- Speeding and Parking
The team have had complaints from Local residents regarding speeding traffic in various locations across the neighbourhood. To combat this the team will be conducting numerous speed check operations over the coming months.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
