Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Youth related Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
Now the summer holidays are upon us there have been more reports of youth related ASB in Barton. In Particular around the Barton Neighbourhood Centre. The neighbourhood team are focusing on stopping, late night drinking, noise near the shops and ASB in the kid play parks.
  2. Drugs
There has been an increase in reports of drug misuse in the neighbourhood. The team will be responding to reports from the public of specific addresses where it is suspected drugs are being used. Likewise we will be targeting the subway system for drug dealing.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
