Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Drugs
Officers are continuing to act quickly on any reports they receive of drug misuse, and likewise will be continuing a series of high visibility operations in an attempt to limit drug dealing and misuse in the neighbourhood.
  2. Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
Nuisance vehicles being ridden around the fields off of Grenoble Road and into the farm area.
Ensuring ASB concerning 8-20 year olds is controlled throughout summer holidays by directing problem groups to local initiatives set up to keep them occupied over summer months (see newsletter for more details)
  3. Theft of and from Motor Vehicles
The Neighbourhood team are actively working to educate the public on how to keep their vehicles safe and secure.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
