Superintendent Ed McLean

Superintendent Ed McLean is the Local Policing Area (LPA) Commander for the Wycombe LPA. Ed joined Thames Valley Police in 1997 after serving as a Royal Air Force Officer for eight years. In policing terms, he has had a varied and operationally-focussed career. Ed has been an operational response officer, a custody sergeant and served in the Roads Policing Department.

Having been promoted to inspector in 2005, Ed performed the role of Control Room Inspector before joining the Force's Tactical Firearms Department as the Head of Firearms Training. More recently, Ed worked as a detective chief inspector on the South East Counter Terrorism Unit (SECTU) and, prior to this role, as the Deputy Police Commander for the Milton Keynes Police Area.

Deputy LPA Commander - Graham Hadley

Graham joined TVP in December 2000 and has served mainly in patrol and neighbourhood uniform roles at Newbury, Reading, Slough and Oxford. Specialising in operations he was formerly a Public Order Instructor, Tactical Advisor and National Command trainer delivering training in-Force and on the International Courses at Bramshill.

During my service he has studied for and been awarded a Masters degree and Doctorate in Criminology from the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies University of Portsmouth.

He has most recently completed two years on the collaborated Joint Operations Unit and is a Public Order Silver Commander.He looks forward to getting back to front-line policing and joining Wycombe LPA.
