Rural crime - Operation Festive - West Berkshire

Thames Valley Police has arrested five men after a large scale operation working with the rural communities targeting rural crime in West Berkshire overnight yesterday (16-17/12).
Two men from Bristol, aged 24 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of hunting wild animals with dogs, relating to an incident that took place on the West Berkshire border with Wiltshire. They remain in custody.
A man, aged 54 from Tadley, Hampshire was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary following an incident in Thatcham, West Berkshire. He remains in police custody.
Two men from Reading aged 30 and 25 were arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal fuel from vehicles in relation to an incident at Burfield Common. They remain in police custody.
