Body of missing man found in river Thames – Oxon/Reading

The body of a man recovered from the river Thames in Oxfordshire has been formally identified as that of a missing man from Reading.
Thames Valley Police’s Specialist Search and Recovery Team (SSRT) found the body of 33-year-old Abid Bari in the river Thames, between Shiplake and Marsh Lock, at just before 1pm on Monday (4/3).
Mr Bari, of London Road in Earley, was reported missing on Saturday 2 February.
His death is being treated as unexplained, but there are no suspicious circumstances. The investigation will now be dealt with by the Berkshire Coroner’s Office.
