Assault by group of men in George Street – Oxford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a 34-year-old man was assaulted in George Street on Sunday (12/5).
The victim was in George Street walking in the direction of New Inn in Hall Street towards Gloucester Green. As he crossed the road, a group of five or six Asian men walked past him. As they passed, one of them punched him in the face injuring his nose.
The victim received a bloody nose, however, did not require hospital treatment.
The group of men walked from the scene up George Street, away from Gloucester Green.
Police are appealing for anybody who witnessed this incident or has information that may assist the investigation to[ call the Thames Valley Police 24-hour non-emergency single number 101 and ask to speak to PC Cristopher Cassidy of St Aldates police station.
