CCTV image released in connection with shoplifting and assault - Cowley

Thames Valley Police is releasing an image of a woman police would like to speak to in connection with shoplifting and assault in Cowley.
On Friday 4 July at around midday, a woman was stopped by security guards in the Asda store in the retail park inbetween Towns Road on suspicion of shoplifting.
She punched a female security officer and then punched and spat at a male security officer.
She then fled the scene but stopped briefly to hand back the clothing which had been taken.
The victims sustained minor scratches and bruises and did not require hospital treatment.
Anyone who recognises the woman in the image or who has any information about the incident is asked to contact PC Lee Gilbert from Cowley police station via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
