Witnesses sought for road traffic incident - Oxford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic incident in Oxford earlier today (27/7).

At around 1am there was an altercation between a man and at least one woman near the Evenlode Tower in Blackbird Leys. A short time later it was reported that the man was hit by a silver car while he was on the pavement near the tower. The woman then got into the silver vehicle which drove off.

The man suffered heavy bruising to his leg, which required treatment at the John Radcliffe hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information about this incident or who knows of the whereabouts of the driver to please contact them as a matter of urgency via 101, quoting URN 143 27/7.
