Wednesday 30 July 2014, 5:06pm
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after an assault.
At around 4.25pm on Sunday (27/7), the victim, a 49-year-old man, was driving on the A424 at the mini-roundabout in Fulbrook near Burford.
Another driver in a silver Land Rover Discovery allegedly failed to give way at the roundabout so the victim used his horn.
The offender then stopped his car in the road, got out of the vehicle and approached the victim.
He then pushed him and shouted at him.
The victim did not sustain any injuries.
The offender was white, in his mid-fifties, around 5ft10 to 6ft tall, of large build with a beer belly.
He was wearing faded jeans and light-coloured checked shirt.
Investigating officer PC Charlie Hayes from Witney police station said: “This incident happened in broad daylight on a busy road and it is very likely that many other members of the public witnessed the altercation. Anyone with any information please contact me via the 101 number.”
