Media invitation - knife crime education event, Radcliffe School, Milton Keynes

Members of the media are invited to attend a workshop forming part of the Thames Valley Police initiative to educate young people and reduce knife crime on Thursday (29/1).

Run by The New Destiny Trust, the workshop will take place at Radcliffe School, Aylesbury Street West, Wolverton, Milton Keynes.

Pupils from Year 11 will be attending the workshop between 11.10pm and 12.10pm and reporters and photographers will be able to sit in on the session for first hand experience of the New Destiny Trust’s approach to engaging and educating young people. Anyone wishing to attend should arrive no later than 11am.

After the event, reporters will have the opportunity of speaking to: Insp John Fox from Thames Valley Police, Syd Shahid Sayed and Lionel Quarry of the New Destiny Trust, schools representatives and the students themselves.
