Goring / Woodcote neighbourhood update

Update for April

This is the latest neighbourhood update, provided by PC Barbara Taylor:

On Thursday 26 March the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) met to close and discuss the priorities that had been identified as a priority the community.

Over the last year the police have been working with agencies and partners to tackle anti-social behaviour, criminal damage and speeding.

During April a new consultation will be underway around the Goring and Woodcote areas to identify new priorities. Officers will be conducting door-to-door enquiries, street surgeries and a public meeting to get views.

Sonning Common and Nettlebed will have their consultations during May and June respectively.

If you feel strongly about your community and wish to either be a member of the Neighbourhood Action Group or to make sure your opinion is heard please contact the Henley Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team via 0845 8 505 505 or email babara.taylor@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk

Over the recent weeks we have been concentrating on rural crime issues and have introduced Country Watch to support people in remote locations enabling information to be shared and help crime reduction.

On Tuesday 7 April a crime prevention initiative will be held in the Market Place, Henley between 10am and 1pm where you will be able to discuss any concerns you may have or if you require any personal items post coded or security marked this will be available.

We are always looking for ways to improve our service to the people in our neighbourhood. To contact us or to find out more about the team call us on 0845 8 505 505 or visit www.thamesvalley.police.uk.
