Bisham / Cookham / Hurley neighbourhood
Local priorities
After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:
- Criminal damage on Alfred Major Recreation ground, damage to cars on High Road and New Road Cookham, graffiti on post boxes and dog mess on burial ground at Waltham St Lawrence.
- Anti-social behaviour and car crime on High Road Cookham, young people hang around the school and library, Alfred Major Park, Cookham Rise Railway Station and Winter Hill car park.
- Police visibility. There is limited visibility of the police in villages and outlying smaller areas
Neighbourhood Action Group
These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
