Clewer / Oakley Green neighbourhood
Local priorities
After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:
- Anti-social behaviour. Groups of young people are of good nature but some get drunk and act anti-socially. Areas affected include Smiths Lane, Bruce Walk and late night shops.
- Parking along Testwood Road Homer School during afternoon school run. Pavement and junction obstruction along Redford Road and Birch Close, Kentons Lane and Clewer Hill Road.
- Police visibility. Some residents continue to feel concerned due about the perceived lack of police presence.
Neighbourhood Action Group
These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
