Faringdon / Buscot / Coleshill neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

  1. Safety in the Community. Perception by some people who feel intimidated at bus stops, outside of educational establishments and recreational areas.
  2. Speeding. A speeding problem is believed to exist along Park Road, Faringdon, Fernham, Longcot, Highworth Road, Shrivenham and Buscot Road.
  3. Greater Police Visibility. The public require an improved police visibility as some people feel vulnerable in certain locations.

Neighbourhood Action Group

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
