Banbury Rural South neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

  1. Speeding. The residents have concerns about motorists exceeding speed limit along Aynho Road – Adderbury, the main road in Shutford and the A361 Bloxham.
  2. Parking issues around the shop and post office on Mauin Road in Sibford Ferris, at the Market Square in Deddington and around Christopher Rawlins School Aynho Road in Adderbury.
  3. Anti-social behaviour around Lucy Plackett and Adderbury Court in Adderbury: The Goggs, The Rec and Winters Way in Bloxham: Cup and Saucer, The Plantation and Vicarage Gardens in Cropredy.

Neighbourhood Action Group

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
