Headington South neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

  1. Anti-social behaviour. The problem relates to noisy young people congregating within the community.
  2. Parking and speeding. Specifically problems have been identified as being in the Wood Farm, Girdlestone Road and Quarry areas areas of the neighbourhood.
  3. Graffiti and criminal damage. Individuals and groups of young people spray tags and write graffiti on walls, fences and play areas.

Neighbourhood Action Group

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
