Marston neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

  1. Speeding and parking. Speeding concerns across the neighbourhood and parking issues on Rippington Drive, Mortimer Drive and Oxford Road.
  2. Litter problems on Westlands Drive, Cherwell Drive and Salford Road. Dog fouling on parks across the neighbourhood.
  3. Anti-social behaviour. Groups of noisy teenagers hanging in front of shops on Westlands Drive, Maltfield Road and Plowman Tower.

Neighbourhood Action Group

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
