Superintendent Rob France - Local Policing Area commander

Superintendent Rob France

Superintendent Robert France joined Thames Valley Police in 2004. In April 2016 he took on the role of LPA Commander for the newly merged Bracknell and Wokingham local police area, following just over three years as LPA Commander for Wokingham. He has worked in a variety of uniform and investigative operational roles, mainly in the Oxford area. In 2010 he was part of the small project team which supported Thames Valley Police through the Force restructuring (Local Policing Model) project, part of the Force’s strategy to address tightening policing budgets while protecting front-line delivery.

Acting Chief Inspector Christina Berenger Deputy LPA Commander, Bracknell and Wokingham

Christina joined TVP in 1992 and spent eight years on Response, in the Neighbourhood Policing Team and as a dog handler.

In 2000 she took a two year career break where she completed a teaching qualification and taught English and French in language schools in Windsor and Fontainebleau in France.

Christina re-joined TVP in 2003 and spent three years in the Neighbourhood Policing Team where she was promoted to sergeant, and then moved onto Local CID as a Detective Sergeant where she spent the next seven years before taking career pathways on promotion to Inspector.

For the last three years she has been at Bracknell where she was involved in the merger with Wokingham in April this year. She is very much looking forward to being the new Deputy LPA Commander on this LPA where she has thoroughly enjoyed working in different roles over the last five years.
