Baylis / Stoke neighbourhood
Local priorities
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
- Road Safety. Excess speed on Oatlands Drive. Lack of pedestrian crossing at junction of Stoke Poges Lane/Elliman Avenue/Oatlands Drive. Also lack of filter lanes resulting into “near misses”.
- Prostitution. Prostitution along Stoke Poges Lane and kerb crawlingm and brothels being set up in residential areas.
- Anti-social behaviour. Young people congregate in the park off Staunton Road. They drink alcohol and become noisy.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
