Burnham neighbourhood
Local priorities
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
- Burglary/theft from vehicles – Offenders are targeting houses with UPVC doors across Burnham which are not locked from the inside. Theft from vehicles hot spots include public car parks, stealing valuables left on display such as laptops and sat navs.
- Anti Social Behaviour – Although levels of anti social behaviour are down compared to previous years, the NAG are working with other agencies to provide facilities for young people.
- Speeding/parking – Ongoing parking issues identified on and roads surrounding Burnham High Street. Speeding hot spots include Dropmore Road, Hogfair Lane and Lent Rise Road
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
