Upton neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

1. Anti-social behaviour. Street drinking and drug use on Herschel Park. Residents have expressed their concerns regarding groups of people having late night drinks, drug dealing and use in the area.
2. Street drinking along Park Street. Residents have concerns regarding the amount of street drinking occurring in the Park Street area near to the junction with Osborne Street.
3. Serious Acquisitive Crime in Upton. Residents and local businesses have concerns about the level domestic burglaries, robberies and theft in the Upton neighbourhood.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
