Chesham Rural neighbourhood
Local priorities
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
- Speeding. The following roads have been classified as area one: The Lee, Swan Bottom, South Heath. Most rural roads are narrow and lack pavements but are used as “rat runs” on rush hours.
- Speeding. The following areas have been classified as area two: St Leonards, Cholesbury, Bellingdon. Most rural roads are narrow and lack pavements but are used as “rat runs” on rush hours.
- Speeding. The following areas have been classified as area three: Ashley Green, Whelpley Hill, Ley Hill, Latimer. Most rural roads are narrow and lack pavements but are used as “rat runs” on rush hours.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
