Iver neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Parking. There are concerns about parking during pick up and drop off times at schools across the village. Main areas include the High Street junction of Leas Drive, on Slough Road, Iver Heath and in the Richings Park area at the junction of Wellesley Avenue and Bathurst Walk on double yellow lines
  2. Carrying of illegal scrap metal. There are concerns regarding an increase in rogue traders passing through the village carrying scrap waste without appropriate licences to take such waste to the local scrap yard.
  3. Burglary – Following past history of burglaries increasing at this time of year due to increased hours of darkness, the Iver NHPT will be actively patrolling hotspot areas, visiting vulnerable persons and properties and offering crime prevention and reduction advice.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
