Tilehurst East neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Speeding. Motorists exceed speed limit on the following roads; Corwen Road, Westwood Glen, Westwood Road, Oak Tree Road, and Kentwood Hill.
  2. Burglary. Although incidents have been reduced there are still pockets of higher levels of burglaries in certain areas of Tilehurst East.
  3. Parking. Around the area including Recreation Road, Westwood Road, School Road, Lloyds Bank, Armour Road, Park Lane but predominantly around schools.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
