Sonning / Charvil / Hurst neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Speeding. There are concerns in the village, particularly on Sonning Lane and Pound Lane - Sonning; Old Bath Road – Charvil; Lines Road and Dunt Lane - Hurst.
  2. Parking. Complaints about parking around primary schools during drop off and pick up times.
  3. Car crime. There has been a rise in theft of personal possessions from vehicles parked at sporting venues in the Sonning area.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
