Wing South neighbourhood
Local priorities
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
- Road safety issues. Across the Wing South area there are concerns around vehicle speeding, particularly through Cheddington, Edlesborough, Northall and Ivinghoe villages. We conduct regular speed check operations utilising enforcement and advice options.
- Crime priorities. The Wing South area has seen an increase in thefts from business premises and sheds over the past few months. We are taking part in crime operations specifically aimed at tackling serious crimes such as robberies and burglary across our areas. We will target offenders and patrol areas subjected to crime.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
