Grimsbury / Cherwell / Easington neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Burglary (All types). We will be focusing on reducing all types of burglaries in the area by providing crime prevention advice to ensure that residents, their homes and property do not become targets. We will be conducting high visibility patrols in problem areas.
  2. Metal Thefts. These types of thefts are on the rise due to the increase in the price of metal. We will be working with the rural communities who are particularly affected by this type of crime to deal with any suspicious activity or vehicles reported to us.
  3. Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB). ASB is still a concern of residents in the area. We are still focusing our patrols in hotspot areas and dealing robustly with offenders.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
