Old Bletchley neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Speeding. The Neighbourhood Action Group agrees that motorists exceed speed limit on most of the roads in the area, particularly along Buckingham Road and Whalley Drive.
  2. Parking. The main focus is on the areas around local schools; Holme Chase, St Thomas Aquinas and Chestnusts School. These include Whalley Drive, Elmers Park and Sherwood Drive.
  3. Groups of young people / alcohol. Main focus is on the local park off Whitely Crescent, the Racecourse Estate particularly Chepstow Drive.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
