Wood Farm / Girdlestone neighbourhood
Local priorities
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
- Anti-social behaviour/drugs. Groups of young adults congregating, particularly in Atkyns Road and Leiden Road. Drug dealing and people taking drugs in public places. We have arrested some people for possession of drugs but are interested in those who supply them. We ask members of the public to help us with information.
- Burglary. A number of vulnerable premises has been identified, occupiers have been spoken to with regard to how they can reduce the chances of being victims of burglary.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
