Chesham Town Centre neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Anti-social behaviour. Large groups of young people hang around the town, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s. This creates a sense of unease and intimidation to some members of the public.
  2. Drug Abuse / Dealing. Over recent months there has been concern in our community relating to drug abuse and dealing in an around Chesham.  Over the next few months the Chesham team will be analysing this information and, together with partner agencies, running a number of operations aimed at targeting drug suppliers and educating users.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
