Southcourt neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Reports received of ongoing Anti-Social Behaviour in some of the areas occupied by the elderly resident’s of Birch Court and Verney Walk.  Problem revolves around children coming to and from school and further reports of youths hanging around in groups intimidating the residents.
  2. Response to increased complaints of Criminal Damage in the areas of Coxhill Way, Penn Road, Prebendal Avenue.  Problems exist in the residential areas, with particular emphasis on foot traffic and potential links with Anti-Social Behaviour.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
