Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Anti-social Behaviour (ASB). The Neighbourhood Policing Team have had an increase in reports of ASB in Wallingford. The main areas affected are the town centre and neighbouring areas.
  2. Burglary/Attempted Burglary. There has been an increase in reports of attempted burglaries and burglaries occurring across the area.
  3. Rural Crime/Bicycle Thefts. The Neighbourhood Policing Team have received an increase in reports of illegal hare coursing across the rural area. There have been many reports of bicycle thefts on the Cholsey Meadows site, in the last couple of months.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
