Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Anti social behaviour (ASB) - We will continue to work with partner agencies regarding ASB. Noise issues such as music playing loudly are not deemed ASB and therefore the team are very limited in what we can realistically achieve. All noise issues need to be reported to the Environmental Health Services at the AVDC and if applicable the housing provider who are better equipped to deal with these issues. Also neighbourhood disputes are better lead by housing association with our support, as they are the land lord and with have their own anti-social behaviour practices in place which they can enforce.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
