Great Brickhill, Wing and Ivinghoe District neighbourhood
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
- Burglary dwelling - Burglary remains top of the list as a priority for the team. Burglary patrols are ongoing as part of our daily patrols and both reactive officers and neighbourhood officers are conducting patrols on a daily basis. If you see a member of the team please come and have a chat. We’d happily give you any advice.
- Theft from motor vehicle (TFMV) - Theft from motor vehicles is still one of our priorities and will be for the foreseeable future. We are doing everything we can to reduce this by giving crime reduction advice to vehicle owners. Sadly a lot of this advice is given when they’ve already had their cars broken into. We will be directly targeting vehicles in the future that have valuables on show. Please do not be offended if you receive any correspondence from the team it is purely for your benefit. This is a crime that can greatly be reduced by simply removing valuable items for your vehicle:
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
