Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

1. Burglary Dwelling - Burglary is one of the most devastating crimes committed against the public because our homes should be our place of safety. We will always strive on the team to prevent, reduce and detect burglary. September sees the autumn months start to roll in and daylight get shorter so we will be conducting burglary patrols as a priority.

2. Theft from vehicle - Opportunist thefts take advantage of vehicles being left in remote locations around our area but they also target vehicles left in residential streets. We aim to continue our efforts to reduce the amount of this kind of offending across our neighbourhood

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
